COMPETITIONS<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679588636428{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]There are already several editions that we have organized of the \u201cHistorias Hiladas\u201d contest at the Balenciaga Museum and the Tabakalera Cultural Center in San Sebasti\u00e1n. The objective is to spin sewing and fashion, giving importance to the making of the garment itself, in short, to the creation process. To do this, several groups made up of an emerging fashion designer, a design student and a couture aficionado have created impressive evening dresses.

MASTERCLASS
\n\u201cMASTERS OF SEWING\u201d<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679588670717{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]In 2017, the Masters of Sewing program premiered on RTVE. As an Official Collaborator, we launched a program of 12 free weekly masterclasses that we taught in our Alfa stores in parallel to the program. They were so well received that many \u201cAmigas de Alfa\u201d sewing academies joined the challenge. Once the program is over, we continue to teach them!

MY FIRST STITCHES<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1679588728236{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]It is the ideal initiation workshop to have a first contact with an Alfa sewing machine. In these workshops you will learn the basic sewing techniques such as threading, making bobbins and the most used types of stitches. You will put what you have learned into practice by sewing an accessory such as a toiletry bag or a cloth bag.
